Anta Touray
Anta Touray is a seasoned coordinator with a diverse background in arts, activism, fashion, and international business. She brings a host of research, copywriting, creative producing, and administrative skills to her role as Coordinator at Black Trustee Alliance for Art Museums. In her role at BTA, Anta provides administrative support for the Executive Director and for BTA’s growing member community and programming.
Prior to joining BTA, Anta lent her communication and problem-solving skills to a diverse range of initiatives, including supporting international lawyers in contract resolution disputes, collaborating with activists to address police surveillance, and assisting creative directors in crafting narratives for luxury brands. Anta previously served as the Executive Assistant to the Director of Data for Black Lives and as a Project Manager for the James Baldwin Institute in France.
Anta double majored in History and Anthropology at Barnard College, Columbia University in the City of New York and History at Ecole des Hauts Etudes En Sciences Sociales in Paris.
