Joining BTA

2022 ONWARD

During BTA’s inaugural year, 2021, we were delighted to offer gratis membership and access to member programming for all eligible individuals.

As of March 1, 2022, the Black Trustee Alliance for Art Museums has launched its first paid membership program.

BTA members are invited to participate in our second annual Convening. The 2022 edition will take place on Tuesday, May 17, in person at The Ford Foundation Center for Social Justice in New York, and virtually.

Individual Membership

The Black Trustee Alliance for Art Museums was formed to build and strengthen relationships amongst Black trustees across the nation, with the goal of becoming more effective advocates for change, equity, and inclusion. With the sustained support of BTA members, we will collectively create the changes we wish to see in art museums in our individual communities and across the country.
