Individual Membership

The Black Trustee Alliance for Art Museums was formed to build and strengthen relationships amongst Black trustees across the nation, with the goal of becoming more effective advocates for change, equity, and inclusion. With the sustained support of BTA members, we will collectively create the changes we wish to see in art museums in our individual communities and across the country.

Founding Member

BTA’s Patrons contribute a minimum of $1,500 in support of BTA’s operations, member programming, publications, and data-driven research initiatives.

Institutional Membership

Our institutional partners are a key component to strengthening BTA’s vital work. Institutional support helps to fortify the network of Black trustees across North America driving change across their museums, and also serves as an ongoing investment in diversity within your institution.
