Annual Convening
2021 Black Trustee Alliance Inaugural Convening
June 15, 2021
Virtual
The Black Trustee Alliance for Art Museums is proud to announce its Inaugural Convening cosponsored by the J. Paul Getty Trust, which will be held on Tuesday, June 15 via Zoom.
BTA’s Annual Convenings are members-only days of engaging conversations such as fireside chats, panels, guided tours, and small group discussions with leaders from the arts and cultural community.
During this year’s gathering, we will consider how Black trustees can actively support their museum Directors’ diversification efforts. We will also hear about the breadth of projects Black curators are working on today, and how trustees can be most supportive of their plans. The convening will conclude with a virtual dance party.
