Description

The Portland Art Museum (referred to as Museum) and the Center for an Untold Tomorrow (referred to as PAM CUT) invites applications for the position of Head of Protection Services & Training. The Head of Protection Services & Training provides strategic and operational leadership on all security and safety related activities, ensuring the safety and security of all guests, personnel and property. This role will manage a team of Protection Services Officers (PSO) that spans three different shifts along with the Protection Services Supervisor and Emergency Systems Coordinator. This position will ensure and oversee security operations and collection protection, coordinate emergency planning and preparedness, departmental budget and project management, and ensure all standard operating procedures (SOPs) are current and PSO have necessary training to be successful in their roles. The Head of Protection Services & Training will report directly to the Director of Campus Operations.
